IT in the dynamics of business knowledge

The text presents an analysis of knowledge management in small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs), highlighting how information technologies (IT) can facilitate its implementation at various stages of the process. Through a multiple case design, four companies from different sectors are explored, describing how they manage knowledge through the stages of socialization, externalization, combination and internalization, all fundamental to creating value and competitive advantages. Furthermore, the crucial role of IT in each of these phases is highlighted, providing tools that support the creation, storage, transfer and application of knowledge. The text integrates theory and practice, offering a useful resource for both entrepreneurs and teachers interested in knowledge management.
