Knowledge creation: from Nonaka and Konno’s ba to Edgar Morin’s hic et nunc

Abstract

The present essay it has as aim analyze the process of creation of knowledge that follows in the

world to approach what has been named the New Economy or Economy of the Knowledge. The

theoretical bases reflect the western and oriental thought across philosophical positions as the

Hic et nunc in Edgar Morin and the Basho in Ikujiro Nonaka and his collaborators. The investigation of documentary type analyzes the manners of creation of the knowledge in the western world in relation with the oriental world and seeks to inquire about the differences in the process of knowledge creation in both cultures, by means of fundamental questions it brings over of those who do create knowledge? How does it take place? How does one organize? How is it transferred? The results describe that the western organizations use of a human and technological infrastructure to create knowledge in spite of that paradoxically the same organization disables the development of collective knowledge. While in the oriental civilizations the organizations favor to share in collective form what the individual knows, in spaces of meetings known as Basho, conceived for the exchange of knowledge, facilitating this way his creation.
