The amphinomid polychaete Amphinome rostrata is a widespread species originally described from Indian Ocean. On November 2023 at Bahía de Banderas in the central Pacific coast of Mexico, some specimens of A. rostrata, associated with pelagic gooseneck barnacle Lepas anatifera, were observed as sclerobiont on a plastic flowerpot collected in water surface. To our knowledge, this note represents the first photographic record of A. rostrata in the Pacific coast of Mexico. The species has been previously recorded from Mexican Caribbean.
