The awakening of alternative investments: a haven in times of crisis

Abstract

The Europe economic situation, the numerous financial scandals, the market uncertainty causes the investor does not know where to invest their capital profitably and safely. In this situation, alternative investments should become the ultimate safe haven investment. However, the lack of these leads investors to believe that these investments do not offer high returns in a short and medium term. Therefore, the paper's aim is to analyze the alternative investment market of the past years, showing that the market has a very strong and bullish future trend. Later we will identify to the most profitable investments of the principal alternative products, numismatical investments, determining that the investments in visigodas and romans coins are the most profitable investments for the investors. In this way we offer to investors a reference guide to invest their capital profitably and safely.
