Revista Odontológica UAS (REVOUAS) is a biannual scientific publication edited by Facultad de Odontología of Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa, created with the purpose of promoting the generation, dissemination, and transfer of scientific knowledge in the field of dentistry and health sciences. Its main objective is to provide a high-quality academic space for the publication of original research results, contributing to the strengthening of scientific production and to the development of professional practice grounded in evidence.

REVOUAS is oriented toward the dissemination of unpublished scientific works in the areas of basic sciences, clinical research, epidemiology, dental education, public health, and related disciplines, promoting critical analysis, innovation, and the exchange of experiences among researchers, faculty members, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as health professionals and members of the national and international scientific community.

The journal is distinguished by its commitment to academic excellence, research ethics, and editorial quality, promoting the publication of contributions that provide solutions to the current challenges of oral health and foster the generation of new knowledge. As an open-access publication, REVOUAS guarantees the free and unrestricted availability of all its contents, favoring the democratization of knowledge and allowing research results to be consulted, used, and shared by the academic and professional community at the global level. The journal has ISSN 3122-4210 and reservation of rights for exclusive use 04-2025-1205102133000-102, elements that support its editorial identity and consolidate its presence within the scientific field.

The editorial process of REVOUAS is based on criteria of methodological rigor, originality, pertinence, and scientific relevance. Received manuscripts are submitted for evaluation by the Comité Editorial and by specialists in the corresponding areas, ensuring transparency and quality in the publications. Likewise, authors must accompany their contributions with the copyright transfer letter, which allows the dissemination, reproduction, and redistribution of the material for academic and non-commercial purposes, always in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies.
