This paper explores the relationship between football supporter groups (barras), violence, and the constructions of hegemonic masculinities, with a particular focus on the incident at Estadio Corregidora (Querétaro, México) on March 5, 2022. Through the concept of necropower, this conceptual analysis reveals how football becomes a space where violence, has a deep identity and political implications. The supporter groups, seen as organized collectives, operate under codes that reinforce aggression and exclusion, using violence to validate specific forms of masculinity. These masculinities impose themselves within the football context through domination and control. The incident in Querétaro serves as a case to understand how necropower manifests in everyday life and how football functions as a stage where dynamics of exclusion and violence are perpetuated.
