In the following article we analyze the editorial work carried out by a regional newsletter, El Sol de Sinaloa owned by the Cadena García Valseca (CGV) in the year 1970 related to its opposition to the ideology and militants of communism and the alleged effects pernicious that caused the Mexican society. With the use of political and cultural history, we highlight in the text the sociohistorical conditioning factors that influenced the writing used by this newspaper in the journalistic treatment it gave to the subject and its dissemination in the national public sphere in those years.
