Hypotheses in scientific research
Keywords:
Variables, Causalidad, HipótesisAbstract
Through scientific activity, humans not only satisfy their curiosity, but also develop as individuals and as a species. Scientific research is driven by questions and provisional or anticipated explanations known as hypotheses, based on previous knowledge. These hypotheses must be confronted with experience; therefore, the design of research is fundamental, as well as the use of appropriate instruments for the collection of empirical data. Thus, hypotheses are indispensable tools to guide scientific research and, consequently, to build gradual approaches to the interpretation of reality.
