Abstract

Pulp stones are hardened masses that may come in different shapes and are mainly composed of calcium and phosphorus, they are located in the internal part of the dental organ and are the result of the search of the pulp tissue to contain the aggression of caries to try to preserve some of its vitality, so that a part of the pulp gradually becomes a calcified tissue. This story seeks to explain in a pleasant way why these masses are formed and their main characteristics.
