Abstract

The objective of this work was to analyze if there is a relationship between the cement ceiling factors of Mexican businesswomen (culture, household responsibilities and perception of themselves and others) and gender stereotypes. Through a descriptive documentary investigation, 8 case studies were examined that show the situation of the woman with respect to her responsibilities determined by the roles she performs (housewife, mother and wife); confirming the cement ceiling in which they are based is based on gender stereotypes that hinder the balance of their personal lives and the management of their company.
