Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Authors agree to submit a proposal that is original and unpublished and that has not been simultaneously submitted to another journal for possible publication. If, during the review process, any of the peer reviewers determines that the proposed article contains total or partial plagiarism, the editorial process will be terminated.

The journal accepts five types of submissions:

Original Articles: These must be original and unpublished, not previously published, and not under simultaneous review by another publication. They will be peer-reviewed by at least two specialized reviewers.

Doctoral Thesis Report: The thesis defense must have taken place prior to submission and be recent. The report will be subject to peer review.

Review Article: This presents the results of primary and bibliographic research aimed at reporting on advances in computer science, as well as recurring problems, methods, and new trends. It must contain a minimum of 30 bibliographic references.

Book Review: This offers a critical analysis of recent works relevant to the field of computer science that contribute thematic, methodological, empirical, or analytical insights. The reviewed works must not be more than three years old.

Invited Articles: These are requested directly by the editor-in-chief and reviewed by at least two editors of the journal. They integrate both original results and state-of-the-art analyses, with the purpose of expanding the scientific impact of the publication and contributing to its academic visibility.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

 Text Structure: Articles and reviews must be submitted in electronic format (see the author template).

Articles may range in length from 6 to 25 pages, including references, bibliography, tables, graphs, and illustrations.

Where applicable, it is the author’s responsibility to also submit the necessary permissions for the publication of images protected by any type of copyright.
