Keywords:

Human talent management in the tourism and restaurant sector is a key factor for the competitiveness and sustainability of organizations. This study conducted a systematic review following the PRISMA-2020 methodology, analyzing 14 studies retrieved from the REDALYC database and the specialized website Google Scholar. These studies highlight that high employee turnover, driven by low wages and long working hours, represents one of the main challenges in these sectors. The lack of training and the perception of employment as temporary further exacerbate job instability, negatively impacting service quality and business profitability.
To address these issues, the implementation of talent management strategies focused on motivation, feedback, and professional development is suggested. Continuous training and career planning emerge as essential tools to enhance productivity and retain key employees. Additionally, the importance of strengthening connections with educational institutions is emphasized to ensure the availability of qualified talent.
In conclusion, organizations in the sector should adopt a strategic approach to human talent management, promoting fair working conditions, ongoing training, and professional growth opportunities, thereby ensuring their success and sustainability in a highly competitive environment.
