The objective of the present research is to diagnose the dominant culture of a company in the metalworking sector using the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) developed by Cameron and Quinn, and to highlight the discrepancies between the preferred and the current culture, as well as to determine which culture prevails in the studied company. Three hypotheses were formulated for this purpose. The OCAI was applied to a sample of 212 out of a total of 255 employees from different hierarchical levels and departments. After analyzing the radar charts and the corresponding data tables, it was found that the dominant culture of the organization is market-oriented, there are no significant discrepancies in the typologies shown, and the most predominant culture in the company is the market culture, followed by the hierarchical one. This study contributes to understanding cultural dynamics in the metalworking sector and provides insights for managing cultural change in industrial environments.
