Manual for Authors and Reviewers
Reviewers' Obligations
In accordance with our code of ethics, reviewers must:
Notify the editor-in-chief of any conflict of interest regarding the assigned manuscript before beginning the review, and decline the review if the conflict cannot be resolved.
Inform the editor-in-chief promptly if they lack the necessary expertise to evaluate the assigned work or if it is not possible to complete the review within the established timeframe.
Inform the editor-in-chief of any indication that, in their judgment, justifies the immediate rejection of the manuscript, including well-founded suspicions of plagiarism, data fabrication, or prior publication.
Evaluate the intellectual content of the manuscript objectively and support each observation with verifiable academic criteria.
Guidelines for Reviewers
The editors of Internacionales. Revista en Ciencias Sociales del Pacífico Mexicano (International Journal of Social Sciences of the Mexican Pacific) greatly appreciate your work and would be very grateful for your comments on the attached text. We are particularly interested in your opinion on:
1. Does the manuscript seem consistent with the scope and editorial line of Internacionales. Revista en Ciencias Sociales del Pacífico Mexicano?
2. Comments on the content of the article. As a suggestion, and not as an exhaustive list, you can address the following aspects:
a) Content interest (originality, relevance, novelty, etc.)
b) Strength of argumentation
c) Relevance and quality of references and their use
d) Consideration of competing theoretical options
e) Discussion of the content
f) Possibly, development of objectives, data processing, etc.
g)General aspects regarding format, suitability to the journal's style, organization, tables and/or figures, bibliography, abstract
h) Consider, where applicable, whether the procedure for obtaining informed consent from participants is described, whether there is evidence of the research being reviewed by an ethics council or committee of the institution, or whether it follows the institution's ethical guidelines; whether the researcher describes the potential risks to the study participants; If there is evidence that the anonymity and confidentiality of the study participants were ensured
i) Suggestions regarding format (when dealing with obvious corrections, you can highlight them directly in the manuscript)
j) Suggestions regarding content.
Would you advise:
Accepting it without modifications.
Accepting it with minor modifications.
Accepting it with major modifications.

Reviewers' conflict of interest
The reviewers declare that there is NO CONFLICT OF INTEREST with the proposed work.
In the event of any commercial, financial, or personal relationship with individuals or institutions that could have interests related to the proposed work, they must NOT ACCEPT the application and notify the editor of Internacionales. Revista en Ciencias Sociales del Pacífico Mexicano.
Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers
In accordance with our editorial ethics policy, reviewers agree to:
Accept only reviews for which they possess sufficient academic competence.
Promptly declare any conflict of interest and decline the review if such conflict cannot be resolved.
Provide objective, well-founded, constructive, and respectful assessments aimed at improving the work.
Maintain the confidentiality of the reviewed materials.
Refrain from using information obtained during the review process for personal gain or the benefit of third parties.
Report to the journal any potential instances of plagiarism, redundant publication, data manipulation, or any conduct contrary to academic integrity.
Respond promptly to invitations and communicate any changes in availability that would prevent them from meeting the agreed-upon deadline.
Not suggest that authors include citations to their own work or that of collaborators solely to increase citation counts; all recommendations must be based on valid academic reasons. The reviews should contribute to strengthening the scientific quality of the manuscript through clear, well-reasoned observations aimed at improving the work under evaluation. Personal criticism directed at the authors is inappropriate and unacceptable.
