Masonic societies are organizations with an international presence that carry out activities in favor of social assistance and charity, which is little known due to its secrecy. The history, tradition and organization of the lodges are promoters of values and principles that are framed in the conception of societies of ideas. The objective of this research is to analyze the activities and principles that govern and develop the Grand Lodge of Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons of Sinaloa (G.L.A.L. and A.M.S.), as promoter of a civic model, democratic culture, universal morality and free thought; in accordance with its statutes as a member of the local, national and international community of Freemasonry. For all this, bibliography and newspaper materials were consulted with a critical theoretical approach, as well as in-depth interviews with four Venerable Grand Masters (V.G.M.) who have directed the Grand Lodge of Sinaloa. That is why the actions carried out and values that govern the G.L.A.L. and A.M.S. They are a reliable example of the principles and ordinances established in the organization of Masonic lodges in the international community as societies of ideas defined by Cochin, Furet and Bastian. Thanks to the answers and information provided by the four V.G.M. We were able to verify the verification of the proposal put into operation of this research; All of this comes to contribute and make known the goals that the Masonic lodges seek to achieve despite their secrecy.
