Motivation and leadership are pivotal elements in shaping societal dynamics. This paper delves into the intricate relationship between motivation and leadership within academic and professional spheres, particularly in the face of crises like the unprecedented challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis encompasses a comprehensive exploration of the definitions and manifestations of motivation, distinguishing between intrinsic and extrinsic sources.
