Abstract

The story " Ilusiones en la lona” (Illusions on the ring) narrates the tragic destiny of Julián Mota, a young boxer whose dream of achieving glory is thwarted by corruption and fraud in the world of boxing. Through an intense and emotive plot, the author portrays Mota's struggle to overcome adversities and achieve success in the ring, only to become a victim of a rigged fight that leaves him dishonored and marginalized.
