Mexican women have traveled a long and dizzying path to achieve recognition of their rights. This has meant an intense struggle that, far from being concluded, has revealed the roots of deep discrimination. Thus, on the one hand, a political and legal discourse of respect and equality is created, but at the same time, a reality is formed where violence and submission continue to be the rule. Therefore, this article presents the antithetical situation that exists between the discourse of women's human rights and the reality they face within the framework of the administration of justice in order to warn that, beyond the discourse, in Mexico women continue to be violated.
