Characterization of the influence of patriarchal leadership on the labor performance of family firms in the textile sector

The patriarchal leadership present within the family companies is analyzed to determine the impact of the same on the work performance of family businesses, hence, under a descriptive methodological approach is applied structured survey and validity to 129 companies with more than 4 years of operation and Who is the manager member of the family that owns the patriarchal leadership on work performance; Where it is obtained that, the leader must make decisions based on values, competencies and solution of problems that are influential on the labor performance mainly in the accomplishment of goals; In addition, the performance of family businesses is determined by the family member who administers them, which creates differences between the administration of the family business by parents and the rest of the family (mother, child or other member)
