Keywords:
responsibility, validity, reliabilityAbstract
Social responsibility has gained importance in developing countries where economic, social and environmental problems are more deeply rooted in society. Empirical research on this issue has had a great reach, especially in highly developed countries. Therefore, the objective of this article was to validate the dimensions of corporate social responsibility (economic, social and environmental) for the determination of a measurement scale, due to the scarce contribution to the literature of measurement instruments in the subject and for to give continuity to an empirical investigation on the topic of social responsibility of Mexican companies, this exploratory research aims to carry out a deeper analysis for the case of Mexico. The statistical tool for checking results was through the smart-pls, version 3. The result shows that the instrument is reliable and valid to be implemented in socially responsible companies due to statistically acceptable results in the literature.
