Being a case study, for the collection of quantitative data the questionnaire was used, according to Hernández Sampieri, et al. (1991) this consists of a “set of questions regarding one or more variables” where 181 university students from all the courses offered on campus were randomly surveyed. There were also 8 interviews to know the qualitative data, using several meta-categories (entrepreneurial vision, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, external influences of entrepreneurship according to (Ajzen, 1991), and perceived needs to undertake). On the obtained results the following thing is observed: entrepreneurial intention, there is a greater consistency in the masculine gender; entrepreneurial self-efficacy, there is a balance both in the participation of the female gender, as the male, then, although there is an entrepreneurial self-efficacy in the university students, they vary in intensity.
