Abstract

Feminist methodology in social issues analyzes the importance of incorporating a gender perspective and feminist methodologies into higher education as tools to understand and transform structural inequalities, violence, and discriminatory practices present within university institutions. Likewise, the book highlights the relevance of mainstreaming the gender approach in teaching, research, and institutional management, promoting critical, inclusive educational processes oriented toward human rights. From an interdisciplinary perspective, the coordinators and authors reflect on the role of universities as agents of social transformation committed to substantive equality and the eradication of gender-based violence.
