Negotiated justice “abbreviated procedure” in México

Abstract

The   present   document   analyzes   the   legal procedural figure known as Abbreviated   Procedure,   considering   that since it does not have a precedent in the Mexican Criminal Legal System, information on this procedure highlights its following characteristics:   reduction   of   the   penalty,   acceptance of the accusation, waiver of trial, and the most outstanding feature,  negotiation between the accusing party and the accused.
