Abstract

The text highlights the importance of women's participation in organizational development, underscoring how women entrepreneurs have a transformative impact on their social and family environments. It emphasizes women's transformative leadership within the organizational context and presents the book *Characteristics and Challenges of Women Entrepreneurs in Mexico City* as a reflection of the academic rigor that addresses the characteristics and challenges faced by businesswomen in this context. The authors, researchers at the Gender Studies Seminar at UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), conducted field research with 272 women entrepreneurs, analyzing topics such as financing, competitiveness, social barriers, and the role of women's empowerment in entrepreneurship.
