Social representations, job satisfaction and organizational performance in nursing

This research is intended to meet job satisfaction and organizational performance in nurses DIF-DF, as it seeks to understand one of the ways of development of this sector which considers the job satisfaction of its members, the above from the point of view three theoretical aspects of satisfaction: Herzberg, Lawler and Korman. During data collection, there were 17 interviews with a group of nurses DIF-DF operating area east, forming a descriptive and qualitative study with the technique of direct observation, with a guide topics was developed for in-depth interview. The data obtained through content analysis to identify job satisfaction of nurses in their profession and social representations of the same, showing the relationship of these two elements to organizational performance of nurses and their impact on the organization. It may be noted that job satisfaction of nurses is linked to elements such as comprehensive care and patient care, dedication and the incorporation of new technologies. Thus, the following hypothesis that job satisfaction is the result of a planned action, a reaction that can improve or worsen organizational performance and as a result the conditions of an organization.
