The text appeared in editorial light through the Colegio de la Frontera Norte (El Colef), on April 12, 2021, as part of a considerable effort to who coordinate it: Maximino Matus and Miguel Olmos, both teachers and researchers who make up the academic body of El Colef. It's about a unpublished work for different reasons: it makes visible the anthropology of northern Mexico that for several decades was relegated from anthropological work that only looked in the direction of the center of the country; On the other hand, it reveals the scope that the anthropology in northern lands, from various investigations, at the same time that presents anthropological research as a project open to concerns disciplines from their historical importance and cultural value.
