About the Journal
La Revista Científica FEMUAS, es una revista semestral, de la Facultad de Enfermería Mochis de la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa. Con el propósito fundamental de difundir la producción científica de Enfermería y áreas afines, buscando aumentar los conocimientos, brindar cuidados de calidad, fortalecer el perfil profesional y la colaboración multidisciplinaria.
La Revista Científica FEMUAS está dirigida a científicos, académicos, profesionales y estudiantes que puedan participar como autores de: carta al editor, artículo original, artículos de revisión y aportes de innovación para la práctica.
Current Issue
The second issue of the FEMUAS journal includes a series of papers that address topics of relevance to nursing and health practice. Among them, the study on Handwashing Knowledge in Nursing Professionals in a Second Level Hospital, which emphasizes the importance of hygiene measures as a fundamental pillar in the prevention of Health Care Associated Infections, stands out. It also presents the Characterization of Sexual Risk Practices and the Practice of Papanicolaou in Adult Women in Celaya, Gto., an analysis that offers a critical vision for the promotion of sexual and reproductive health in community contexts.
On the other hand, the article Los conversatorios como Estrategia de Acompañamiento Académico y Emocional en la Transición del Cierre del Programa de la Carrera de Enfermería proposes an innovative approach that emphasizes the importance of comprehensive accompaniment to students in times of change. Also included is the Program for the Recognition of Traditional Mexican Therapists in the National Health System, an initiative that highlights the value of Traditional Medicine within the current health system. Finally, the article Nursing Care Process in the Community Setting: A Case Study illustrates the practical application of the Nursing Care Process in community settings.
