The advancement of the information society in Mexican companies: a case study

Abstract

Recently, talking about ICT is to refer to modernization process, society of information or society of knowledge, globalization, competition, etc. This article presents partial progress of the research project called “Organizational changes in global companies by the incorporation of ICT”, in order to identify the processes of change in organization sand be able to make proposals that could facilitate the incorporation of ICT in all organizations. The results presented include five questions of the 11 required through a survey to a total of 779 organizations from the urban zone in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa.
