Abstract

There are very few Mexican organizations that are working in the enrichment of the culture of their organizations; therefore, this research focuses on characterize the corporate culture of the Grupo Automotriz del Noroeste, with the aim of identifying the competencies and values that requires you to have and develop the whole person to enter the organization to achieve a better adaptation to their culture. The theories that give sustenance to the investigation is the theory of organization, theory of the competencies and competency-based management approach, as well as studies made by Mc Clelland, Alles, Cameron and Quinn, Fernández and Luftman. This research was carried out under the simple case study modality holistic approach, through the mixed approach with qualitative predominance, being a study of descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental. In response to the objectives created a model which consists of 3 stages, which includes the techniques of analysis of documents, interview, survey, the application of a psychometric test and evaluation of organizational culture. This work is actually in the phase of implementation of instruments, so that the results are based on the analysis of documents and through observation.
