Abstract

Nowadays, companies that invest in the development of human capital are more competitive and maintain an advantage over others. On the other hand, organizations that do not offer such attention to their workers are usually influenced by behaviors related to lack of commitment and demotivation, which generates phenomena of “work instability” that affect the organization, reflected in delays and frequent absenteeism, until the loss of the worker or employee rotation, implying economic costs for the companies. The main objective of this paper is to identify the problem of job instability caused by tardiness, absenteeism and job rotation, taking as a study case a restaurant company located in the city of Culiacan, Sinaloa; this, to address the questions related to the indices that depict the behavior of these variables present in the organization, considering age, sex and job position of the work plant. Study that seeks to generate information and contribute, in the first instance, to managers of the company’s personnel, interested in counteracting the negative effects of job instability.
