Export development and competitiveness of agriculture SMEs in Sinaloa

This study aims to analyze aspects that prevent a competitive export development in sinaloense agricultural SMEs. The qualitative approach was used with case study strategy for implementation, of descriptive and interpretive scope. Among the results was found as one of the inhibiting causes of achieving greater competitiveness in the SME sinaloense is the constant variation in product prices and logistics costs; mainly the high concentration of operations to the United States, coupled with the lack of diversification of markets that present opportunities for development and demand for agricultural products grown in the region. Finally, the SME has sinaloense agricultural development opportunities if incorporates strategic processes to successfully venture in which it operates and establish mechanisms and changes in their processes to achieve export competitiveness markets.
