The competitiveness of the public accountant in professional development in teaching: leaders of academic bodies case, accounting research line, Mexico

The generation of employment, wealth and well-being of a country depends to a large extent on the competitiveness of the human resources that integrate the organizations and, consequently, affects the Gross Domestic Product (GDP – PIB in Spanish), therefore, the aim of this research is to analyze the competitiveness of the Public Accountant in their professional teaching development. As an object of study, the leaders of Academic Bodies (AB – CA in Spanish) were chosen, integrated and registered in the official database of the Ministry of Public Education (MPE – SEP in Mexico), under the Teacher Improvement Program (TIP – PRODED – in Spanish), these leaders are Public Accountants, who lead AB - CA, with the Accounting research line, complying with well-defined parameters to represent these BA - CA, with a universe of 48 leaders, determining an electronic sample of 43, obtaining a reliability of .861 Cronbach’ Alpha of the measurement instrument, statistically applying Pearson’s correlation obtaining the positive research hypothesis. This is a mixed (qualitative, quantitative), cross-sectional, documentary, field and non-experimental research.
