About the Journal

The journal of Chemical Biological Sciences of the UAS known as QUIBIOUAS seeks the publication of unpublished scientific articles in the area of Chemistry. It is an open access journal for students, teachers, researchers and anyone interested. The journal's editor-in-chief is Ph.D. Martha Edith López López, Full-Time Research Professor and SNII level 1 at the Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences. The journal has a large editorial team that includes PhD researchers from the areas of Health, Engineering and Biotechnology who serve as technical support, section editors, style correction and layout. Likewise, it has a group of Research Professors belonging to the SNI level 1 and 2 who serve as a scientific committee, double-blind reviewers from various related institutions that make it possible to carry out each of the published issues.

QUIBIOUAS, the journal of Chemical Biological Sciences, is published biannually and is open access, edited by the Autonomous University of Sinaloa through the Faculty of Chemical Biological Sciences. This journal is dedicated exclusively to publishing original scientific articles related to the area of CHEMISTRY specializing in Health, Engineering and Biotechnology.

The original publications are aimed at the community of researchers, teachers, professionals and students linked to Chemistry. It is open access to download or submit works due to it is located on the Open Journal System (OJS) platform, which is also simple to operate. The reviews are carried out under a double-blind process with expert reviewers in the area, which can be both internal or external.

Author Guide (Open Reception)

ORIGINAL RESEARCH 4000 to 5000 words

Format

-The text must be submitted in WORD format, with a .doc extension 

-The main titles are in capital letters, while the subtitles are in sentence type, both in bold. 

-The text must be justified and have 2.0 line spacing; 12 points size and font Time New Roman or Arial. 

-Italics are only used for words in English or another language other than Spanish within the text of the writing, scientific names and the abbreviation et al. 

-Send with line numbering format of the text starting from the second page. 

-The article should be divided into clearly defined sections as mentioned below and each section heading should appear on its own on a separate line in bold capital letters. 

-If the manuscript uses abbreviations, they should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter.

-Bibliographic references are not considered in the limiting words of the manuscript and must be written in APA 6th edition format including the DOI as shown below: https://doi.org/10.1007/s13197-020-04829-0

 

-The tables and figures will be attached to the end of the word file, after the bibliography. The tables must contain the title at the top (maximum 3) and the figures at the bottom (maximum 4). They can group images vertically to facilitate their arrangement in the article. 

-You must carefully review the translation of the title and abstract as well as the coherence and wording of each of the paragraphs since editors may reject your work due to lack of coherence or format.
