Abstract

The distinguishing activities as a competitive strategy turn out to be powerful at times greater competitive constraint when the environment is uncertain and the constant entry of new competitors to the stage with new ways to compete becomes unstable market making. In this paper, environmental management and innovation as sources of competitive advantage in the value chain of avocado exporters located in Uruapan, Michoacán is analyzed. The analysis and measurement of the dimensions mentioned indicators is made up of the model used in this research, this allows knowing or revealing the source of competitive advantage. The value chain of the product system is displayed avocado, which is formed by traders, farmers, growers, packers and shippers.
