Perception of violence in nursing students from a public college

Abstract

Introduction: Violence in universities is a problem that requires urgent attention, especially in the field of nursing, where the training of future health professionals can be seriously affected. Addressing
this issue is crucial to ensure a safe and conducive environment for learning. It is essential to know the
perception that students of this faculty have, since they will be future health professionals. Having clear perceptions about violence is crucial so that they can identify, address and offer effective solutions to this problem. Objective: To analyze the perception of violence among students of a public nursing school. Methodology: Quantitative methodology will be used, descriptive cross-sectional design. The data collection instrument will be the "CUVE3-UNIVERSITY", which will be used in a self-applied manner to 234 students of the Culiacán Nursing School. Results: They will contribute to a better understanding of the situation of violence in the university context, allowing to develop more effective strategies for its prevention and management, equipping future health professionals with the necessary tools to face this challenge in their environments. Conclusions: From a scientific point of view, this research seeks to provide in-depth and specific knowledge on how violence is perceived in the university context, especially in the Faculty of Nursing.
